First woman to walk 17,000kms around Australia alone and without any support vehicles!

It took 4 years to walk a 17,200km circumambulation around Australia. It was completed in sections to avoid hot summers and humid wet seasons. A few injuries forced unplanned breaks for surgery and recovery. Upon arriving in Newcastle Terra set 3 records, the first woman to do this solo unsupported, the longest recorded walk around Australia and the slowest!

Plans are underway for the next big Adventure

During the walk Terra met many people from all over the world riding across and around Australia. Since 2015 she knew this would be the next challenge but it needs to be different and a conduit for promoting cultural and environmental initiatives, community support and connecting with other human powered adventurers. At this early stage Terra hopes to begin a 2 year multi-adventure bike tour around Australia in September 2018.  (image: training on the vintage Graecross at Dunbogan)
